Hey friend, it’s me again. Let’s have a serious talk. Everywhere you turn there’s chaos, turmoil, and destruction. Looking at the news is guaranteed to leave you in a miserable mood. I find myself torn in every direction, emotionally and mentally.
In order to stay sane, I have to talk things out. Otherwise, they stay in my head and keep me up at night. Like seriously keep me up… we’re talking 3 am tossing and turning, unable to go back to sleep. I discovered that in order to stay sane I have to communicate my thoughts. This can be tricky because your concerns are not always safe with friends and family. While I am trying to make my mind up about important topics, the last thing I need is for anyone to take the chaos that is my brain and misinterpret it.
So here’s my solution, its groundbreaking friend! Pay attention… I am about to spill it!
WRITE IT DOWN!

Not as groundbreaking as I thought it would sound, but you get the point, right? Writing down your inner thoughts allows you to think things through and possibly come out with a solution.
I am trying this method for myself and I am trying to make it a point to write down my thought as well as my intentions. I also write down my prayers, especially the ones for my children. In a year or two, I want to go back and look at where I was mentally and if or how I have grown.
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t mention that there are beautiful journaling book option that can totally complete an outfit…just saying.
